Destiny grew up in Eugene, Oregon, in a house filled with creative expression and numerous arts and crafts projects created with her mother and sisters. Her artistic upbringing influenced her desire to create. Destiny originally wanted to be an orthodontist, but in her first year at the University of Oregon she took an intro to metalsmith class and instantly fell in love. She decided to major in art and spent the next four years learning different techniques and ways to make jewelry. The jewelry she created there has evolved into her 'DESTINY RAY' line...a body of work that uses her love of silver and simplicity of design and color. Destiny hopes her jewelry will bring joy to those who wear it and that it will inspire them to pursue their own destiny (pun intended).
